| Exams 2013: 4 students win university scholarship!
The 2012-2013 school year has been a great success with 4 out of 17 girls in our senior secondary section scoring in the top 1% in the state, thereby winning scholarships to study sciences at university. Expansion of the school building is now complete for the foreseeable future and we have successfully gained government permission for our lower secondary level. Read more...
Free Schools Going Green: more solar power needed
Once we have raised enough funds to buy the school busses we urgently need, we plan to install solar panels at the school in order to run fans during the hot spring, summer and early autumn months, and to sustainably run our computer room. Right now we run our computers on generator power and the classrooms rely on cross ventilation for cooling. We would also like to install additional computers as pupils have to work in pairs or teams of three on each computer terminal that we currently have. Any excess funds we might raise from our bus campaign (link to follow) will be used for this purpose.

The global recession and our school
Sadly we have lost several sponsors since the start of the recession in 2008. We understand that our network of sponsors have been facing difficulties due to the global financial crisis and we thank everyone who has ever contributed to the school.

We have for the last few years been running at a monthly deficit and urgently require new sponsors.
